When the grid goes down,
your lights stay on.
Power cuts don't have to mean sitting in the dark. Go off-grid with solar + battery and take full control of your home's electricity — day and night, rain or shine.
Why homeowners in Bahrain are going off-grid.
True independence
Your home runs on its own power — day and night. No more worrying about outages or disruptions. Battery storage keeps everything running even after dark.
Slash your bill 80%
Expats pay 32 fils/kWh — one of the highest residential rates in the GCC. A 16 kW system offsets most of your consumption, saving you 850+ BD every year.
Zero import duty
Bahrain exempts solar panels and systems from all import duty and VAT. The government actively incentivizes residential solar adoption.

Common questions.
How does the off-grid system work at night?+
The lithium battery stores excess energy generated during the day. At night, your home draws from the battery. The system is sized to cover your typical overnight consumption.
What happens during extended cloudy days?+
Bahrain averages over 3,400 sunshine hours per year — extended cloudy periods are rare. The battery is sized with buffer capacity, and the system can optionally connect to the grid as a backup if needed.
How does the 32 fils/kWh rate affect my savings?+
As an expat, you pay the unsubsidized rate of 32 fils per kWh. This is what makes solar so compelling — every kWh you generate yourself is money saved. Bahraini citizens on subsidized rates have longer payback periods but still benefit from energy independence.
What maintenance do the panels need?+
Minimal. We recommend panel cleaning 2–4 times a year due to Bahrain’s dust. We offer maintenance plans starting at 80 BD/year that include cleaning, inspection, and performance monitoring.
Is my deposit refundable?+
Yes, 100% refundable if you decide not to proceed after the site survey. The deposit reserves your installation slot and secures current pricing.
What if I sell my villa?+
Solar panels increase property value. The system transfers with the property and becomes a selling point for the next owner.
